To calculate the number of rooms in your accommodation, you only need to count “main” rooms. The maximum area for a room is set at 30 m². Beyond this size, the room counts for two rooms.

Rooms listed below are not to be considered as main rooms. They must therefore be excluded from the number of rooms to be declared but are nevertheless insured :

• Entrance and corridors,
• WC,
• Garage, box and storage room

As part of a shared accommodation with an individual lease, count the number of rooms for which you have exclusive use (Ex: 1 bedroom) and the rooms shared with the other roommates (Ex: Living room or lounge). Always excluding the parts from the above list (Kitchen, Bathroom ...).

The computer hardware extension option guarantees you compensation for your desktop computer, laptop, printer and peripherals, in the following cases :

• Burglary in your accommodation,
• Electrical damage,
• Accidental breakage.

The computer hardware extension guarantee is an individual option which applies per person.

As part of a shared accommodation with a joint lease, you can fully subscribe to the computer hardware extension option independently of your roommate (s) who does not wish to retain this guarantee.

The amount of compensation for your IT equipment is guaranteed up to € 1,350 (70€ deductible). This amount of compensation applies per person who has chosen the option.

You are guaranteed against accidental breakage of window panes, doors, patio doors, interior partitions, balcony partition walls, bay windows, skylights, glass skies, verandas. The cover limit is € 250 per main room insured (€ 25 deductible).
